You Weren’t Meant to Lose Yourself to Survive
Â
Join us for a weekend to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the parts of you that got left behind.
I'm Ready!!Let's be honest.......
Does this sound like you?
Â
- You’ve spent so long managing, coping, and getting through… you’re not sure what it feels like to just be.
-
You’re questioning the version of yourself the world sees, and wondering what happened to the one underneath it.
- You’re emotionally aware, maybe even in therapy, but you’re still hitting the same walls and patterns.
- You’re tired of fixing, performing, or proving, and you crave something more real.
- You don’t want someone to tell you what to do. You want space to listen, notice, and make sense of it all.
- You feel like you’re standing at a turning point, and you know you don’t want to keep living the same way.
You’re Not Alone.
You're not imagining it, something is missing from most self-development spaces.
Because what many systems don’t explore… is you.
Not just your thoughts or habits, but your energy. Your history. Your nervous system.
Not just what’s happening on the surface, but what’s driving it underneath.
They rarely look at the whole picture.
Your relationships. Your role within the family system.
The patterns you’ve inherited. The parts you’ve hidden just to get by.
At WolfWise, we see it. And we’ve lived it.
We’ve sat with people who’ve done all the inner work but still felt stuck.
With those who couldn’t quite name what felt “off,” but knew they weren’t fully themselves.
With people who weren’t looking for another method, they were looking for meaning.
And we’ve walked with them, not forward, but back.
Back to simplicity.
Back to the nervous system.
Back to the social roles and instincts that still shape us, even when we don’t realise it.
And back to the quiet truths the animals bring forward, without trying, without judgment.
Because this isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about seeing yourself, clearly, maybe for the first time in a long time.
Â

Imagine Finally Feeling…
- Clear-headed, no longer lost in mental loops or emotional overwhelm, but able to hear yourself clearly amidst the noise.
- Grounded in who you are—not the version shaped by pressure or survival, but the one that instinctively knows what feels true.
- Connected in a way that feels real—to the animals, to others, and to yourself. No roles to play. No masks to hold up. Just honest, mutual presence.
- Seen—not for what you do or achieve, but for who you are underneath it all. The parts you've hidden. The parts you’re ready to bring back into the light.
- More regulated, more rooted, more real—because the weekend's  aren't about transformation through effort… but through slowing down, listening, and allowing something deeper to unfold.
INTRODUCING
WOLFWISEÂ
A Journey Back to Truth, Nervous System Safety & Real Connection
This isn’t coaching.
This isn’t therapy.
And it’s definitely not another self-help fix.
WolfWise is a space, carefully held and intentionally shaped, where you can step away from who the world asked you to be and explore what’s real, what’s been waiting, and what’s quietly calling you forward.
Whether you join us for a single weekend, a deeper 4-part journey, or a personal 1:1 experience, WolfWise is a return to clarity, capacity, and connection, through the body, through nature, and through the honest reflection of the animals.
Here’s What You’ll Gain:
- A deeper understanding of your patterns—not just mentally, but in your body.
You’ll begin to notice the unconscious roles you’ve been playing, the way your nervous system has adapted to survive, and what’s been holding you back without you even realising it. From there, change becomes possible—without force, without shame. - A different kind of connection.
The kind that doesn’t rely on performing or pleasing, but grows from honest presence. With the animals. With others. With yourself. For many, this is the first time they’ve felt truly safe to just be, without needing to explain why. - A quiet kind of steadiness.
Not confidence as performance, but the grounded knowing of where you stand, what you feel, and how to move forward without abandoning yourself.
Who It’s For
WolfWise is for thoughtful, reflective people who know there’s more to life than surviving.
It’s for those who’ve done the work, read the books, tried the methods, maybe even helped others, but still feel there’s something just beneath the surface asking to be seen.
It’s for those who are tired of doing it all in their head, and want to experience something real, in their body, in relationship, and in rhythm with the natural world.
You won’t be told what to do.
You’ll be invited to notice what’s already there.

What’s Included
Whether you join us for a single weekend, the full four-part journey, or a one-to-one experience, each path offers space to slow down, reconnect, and explore what's been living under the surface—with the guidance of animals, the land, and circle.

The 1st Circle of Development
Where the world begins—through attachment, co-regulation, and curiosity.
-
Learn what the First Circle really is—your dog’s first experience of relationship as environment through scent, sound, proximity, and nervous system.
So you can become a safe, consistent presence in their world—not just someone giving instructions. -
Understand what’s happening in your dog’s brain and body during this time of bonding and co-regulation.
So you can meet them at their level and support their development instead of accidentally overwhelming it. - Discover how to practically build or repair this circle—especially when it wasn’t fully formed in early life.
So you can create a foundation of emotional safety, even if your dog’s past left gaps. - Learn what happens when the First Circle goes wrong—and how to gently restore connection without pressure.
Â

The 2nd Circle of Development
Where social awareness begins—and the dance of relationship comes to life.
-
Discover the 9 Social Characters—innate traits your dog is born with that shape how they engage, learn, connect, and cope.
So you can finally understand why your dog behaves the way they do—and stop trying to change who they are. -
Learn how wolves develop social awareness, and how we can support the same process in dogs through presence, rhythm, and experience.
So you can raise or rehabilitate your dog in ways that feel natural, not forced. - Explore the Rule of Four and how dogs form genuine relationships (vs just tolerating others).
So you can support your dog in building real, lasting connections—rather than managing conflict. -
Dive into “clock-face communication” and the silent conversations dogs have through movement, scent, vocalisations and more.
So you can begin to listen with your eyes and respond in ways that build trust and cooperation. -  Learn how to practically build the Second Circle—or repair it when trauma, mislabeling, or unmet needs have caused disconnection.
So your dog learns they belong, that they’re safe, and that relationship is a place of growth, not demand.

Â
The Third Circle of Development:Â
This is the stage where your dog begins to truly step into themselves. After all the safety, bonding, and emotional groundwork laid in the earlier stages, they’re now ready to experience the world more independently—and start making sense of it for themselves.
- Learn why we call this the “Porcupine” stage
So you can recognise the natural signs of growing independence—not as defiance, but as a key part of development. - Explore how identity emerges at this stage
So you can respond to your dog as a unique individual, not just a learner following your lead. - Discover how to gently introduce conditions and structure
So you can use the environment, not pressure, to help your dog integrate and solidify what they’ve already learned. - Understand the power of consequence—not punishment
So your dog can build real-world resilience while knowing you're still a safe place to return to. - Merge your role from teacher to trusted anchor
So your dog gains confidence navigating life, knowing you’re there when it matters.

The Fourth Circle of Development:Â
We won’t say too much about this one…
Just know—it’s called The Bear Stage for a reason.
You’ll understand when you get there.
A growing community of like minded, beautiful people to share your journey with Â
Â
When you join the course, you're not walking this path alone.
You’ll become part of a growing community of like-minded, heart-led people—each on their own journey of understanding, connection, and growth.
It’s a space to stay connected to us and to each other.
To share your wow moments, your small (or huge) wins… and yes, the tough days too.
Because real transformation isn’t meant to happen in isolation—it's nurtured in relationship.
And we’re building a space where those relationships can thrive.
Hey!Â
Â
I’m Kim — and if you’re anything like me, you’ve always felt there had to be more to dogs than sit, stay, and heel.
Â
As a child, I didn’t just love animals — I wanted to speak to them. I wanted to understand how they felt, what they needed, and why they did what they did. That need to connect never left me.
It led me into veterinary nursing, where I spent 15 years learning everything I could about dogs. I read every book, took every course, tried every method — always searching for answers. But no matter how much I studied, I kept bumping up against the same thing: these approaches told me how to change behaviour, but never why the behaviour was happening in the first place.
So I practised on my own dogs — mostly rescues — doing my best with the information I had, but deep down, I knew something was missing. Even the kindest methods still felt like they were focused on managing symptoms, not understanding the full picture.
That changed the day I met Shaun — and the wolves.
What I saw in them was everything I had been searching for. There was no need for commands or techniques — only relationship, rhythm, and a shared language that had nothing to do with words. The wolves answered the questions I’d been asking since I was a child. Turns out… you can talk to dogs. You just have to remember how.
That moment changed my life — and now, it’s my passion to share this approach with others who feel the same pull.
Because if you’re here reading this, chances are you’ve tried it all too. And chances are… it still doesn’t feel quite right.
The Hemene Approach isn’t a training method. It’s a return to something far older and deeper — a way of relating that’s built on connection, not control.
And we'd be honoured to walk that path with you.

Well, that word 'training' is a bit of a misnomer now for me because I had to learn that what I always really wanted in my heart was help and reassurance to know how to provide the happiest, most secure, best life for my dogs. Shaun and Kim know all about this and their approach and the depth of their knowledge is amazing, world-beating.Â
-Â Yve

"When i enrolled in the wolf-course i wanted to learn about a natural way of training my dog. It turned out to be beyond my wildest expectations. I realized how this whole society could benefit from this knowledge and wisdom and i will do anything i can to contribute to these insights starting  with my own inner circle"
- Sara

"The foundation course has been amazing, Kim and Shaun are addictive to watch. There's no question too small, no judgement from past behaviour or incidents and no frustration in communicating with the course members - and that is 100% a reflection of how Kim and Shaun communicate with the wolves and dogs they care for, and a lesson for us all to learn from. "

What makes us different...
- Most courses focus on training techniques and behaviour fixes.
We focus on something far deeper: connection, development, and emotional well-being—for both you and your dog.
- Our approach is rooted in decades of research living alongside wolves, observing how emotional and social development unfolds naturally. We’ve taken this unique insight and created a framework that honours your dog’s biology, instincts, and relational needs.
- We don’t teach you how to control behaviour—we help you understand where that behaviour is coming from and how to meet the emotional and social needs underneath it. This is about healing and growing with your dog, not just managing them.
- You’ll be part of a growing, compassionate community of people who are tired of mainstream methods and long for a more authentic way of living with their dogs. You are not in this alone.
- With regular Q&A calls, access to our private community, and the option to receive individualised guidance in group coaching, you’ll be supported every step of the way—whether you’re just starting out or deepening the journey.

A Quiet Invitation to Begin
There’s no rush, no pressure—just a door, quietly open.
If you’ve ever had the feeling that there’s more to your dog than behaviour… more to this bond than rules and routines… you’re right. And this course is your invitation to finally explore that deeper connection.
You could keep going as things are—navigating the confusion, trying to make sense of mixed advice, wondering if your dog’s struggles are just something you have to live with.
Or…
You could start here. With a grounded path that brings clarity, connection, and the kind of relationship that feels like home—for both of you.
Because the real cost of not beginning isn’t about missing out on training tips.
It’s the slow erosion of trust, the disconnection that grows when we can’t quite meet each other.
But that doesn’t have to be your story.
We're here to walk with you, step by step, back to what your dog has always known:
A shared language. A shared life. A shared understanding.
And it begins here.
