The Forgotten Language of Dogs
Â
Wolves never lost the blueprint. Your dog hasn’t either.
The Forgotten Language Foundation Course isn’t training. It’s not obedience. It’s not about fixing behaviour.
It’s about building the depth of relationship that makes your dog feel safe — and changes how you see the world.
Â
You love your dog deeply. But love isn’t always enough.
Â
You give them your time, your care, your devotion.
And yet your dog may still bark, pull, chew, pace, or seem unsettled.
You may find yourself Googling late at night, whispering apologies after snapping, or wondering if you’ll ever “get it right.”
It’s not because you’re failing.
It’s because training taught us to focus on behaviour.
Wolves showed us a different truth: behaviour is just the surface. The real story is always relationship.
Â

We lived with wolves. What they showed us changes everything.
Shaun lived alongside wolves for decades, not at a distance, but inside their family.
He saw how wolf mothers raise their young: with nurture, unconditional connection, opening up their world from a secure based rooted in safety and relationship.
He saw how they manage tension around food or mating season: rupture and repair held safely in the depth of relationship.
He saw how they never miss a chance to reconnect, through rhythm, through touch, through trust.
This is the blueprint your dog still carries.
The Forgotten Language Foundation Course is how you learn to see it, understand it, and live it together.
Â
Inside the Forgotten Language, you’ll discover…
Â
This is not dog training. This is developmental repair.
The Forgotten Language of Dogs is a 4-month group experience that teaches you the foundation of the Hemene Approach, Â a relational, emotional, and nature-based framework that goes far beyond behaviour.
It helps you understand your dog the way nature intended:
Developmentally. Emotionally. Systemically.
Because dogs don’t operate in isolation, they exist within a family system.
And when you start seeing the relational patterns instead of the “problems,” everything starts making sense.

Who This Is For
Â
The Forgotten Language of Dogs is for you if…
-
You’ve tried tools and trainers, but still feel disconnected from your dog
-
You’re blaming yourself (quietly or loudly) for “getting it wrong”
-
You’re scared to trust your instincts, especially when they go against what the experts say
-
You want a real relationship, not just a “well-behaved” pet
-
You know there’s more going on beneath the surface, you just don’t know how to name it

What’s Inside
Here’s how this unfolds:
-
Four months of layered teaching
The Hemene Approach, taught through the Circles of Development. Each month unlocks the next layer, so you deepen without overwhelm. -
Two live group calls per month
Real-time space with Shaun and Kim, where your questions and insights are met, not dismissed. -
Instant access to Month One
Start right away. No waiting. -
Supportive, empathic community
Led by instructors who walk this path, not as experts above you, but as guides beside you. -
Support, not overreach
This is not 1:1 coaching, it’s the foundation. Once you have it, you’ll see the whole system differently.

Why This Works When Others Haven’t
Â
Because this isn’t a surface-level method.
It’s not built on outdated dominance theory.
It’s not another recycled training technique.
This approach was born from decades of lived experience with wolves, not watching from a distance, but living with them as family.
That’s why it works.
Because it reflects nature, not control.
And because your dog isn’t a puzzle to solve, they’re a relational being asking to be seen.
The Invitation
Â
If your body already knows this is right… trust that.
This course wasn’t built for everyone.
It’s built for the person who can’t keep following surface advice.
The one who’s done with “fixing.”
The one who wants a relational homecoming, not just a better-trained dog.
Your dog doesn’t need more training. They need you.
The Forgotten Language shows you how to become the safe, connected presence your dog has always been asking for.

Â
👉 “If Carlsberg did dog courses… probably the best in the world. But for us, definitely the only one worth doing.”
Â
👉 “I feel I can finally start to be the person my dog needs, and to give him the safety he’s been asking for all along. That bond I dreamed of since I was young , it’s finally possible.”
Hey!Â
Â
I’m Kim — and if you’re anything like me, you’ve always felt there had to be more to dogs than sit, stay, and heel.
Â
As a child, I didn’t just love animals — I wanted to speak to them. I wanted to understand how they felt, what they needed, and why they did what they did. That need to connect never left me.
It led me into veterinary nursing, where I spent 15 years learning everything I could about dogs. I read every book, took every course, tried every method — always searching for answers. But no matter how much I studied, I kept bumping up against the same thing: these approaches told me how to change behaviour, but never why the behaviour was happening in the first place.
So I practised on my own dogs — mostly rescues — doing my best with the information I had, but deep down, I knew something was missing. Even the kindest methods still felt like they were focused on managing symptoms, not understanding the full picture.
That changed the day I met Shaun — and the wolves.
What I saw in them was everything I had been searching for. There was no need for commands or techniques — only relationship, rhythm, and a shared language that had nothing to do with words. The wolves answered the questions I’d been asking since I was a child. Turns out… you can talk to dogs. You just have to remember how.
That moment changed my life — and now, it’s my passion to share this approach with others who feel the same pull.
Because if you’re here reading this, chances are you’ve tried it all too. And chances are… it still doesn’t feel quite right.
The Hemene Approach isn’t a training method. It’s a return to something far older and deeper — a way of relating that’s built on connection, not control.
And we'd be honoured to walk that path with you.

Well, that word 'training' is a bit of a misnomer now for me because I had to learn that what I always really wanted in my heart was help and reassurance to know how to provide the happiest, most secure, best life for my dogs. Shaun and Kim know all about this and their approach and the depth of their knowledge is amazing, world-beating.Â
-Â Yve

"When i enrolled in the wolf-course i wanted to learn about a natural way of training my dog. It turned out to be beyond my wildest expectations. I realized how this whole society could benefit from this knowledge and wisdom and i will do anything i can to contribute to these insights starting  with my own inner circle"
- Sara

"The foundation course has been amazing, Kim and Shaun are addictive to watch. There's no question too small, no judgement from past behaviour or incidents and no frustration in communicating with the course members - and that is 100% a reflection of how Kim and Shaun communicate with the wolves and dogs they care for, and a lesson for us all to learn from. "
